Mark is a founding partner of Wealth Guard Financial.  He achieved his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) professional designation in 1989, and his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) professional designation in 1990, from The American College in Brum Mawr, Pennsylvania, and is a retirement and wealth transfer specialist with the firm since 1982.

Mark graduated from The University of Akron in 1980, after serving as a sergeant in the United States Army, crewing helicopteres.  

Mark has a son, Nicholas, who served in the United States Army in Alaska and Kosovo.  His daughter, Jordan, attends Kent State University.  Mark resides in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
