Jim is a founding partner of Wealth Guard Financial and has been with AXA Advisors, which became Equitable Advisors in January 2020, since 1977.  Jim is a Chartered Life Underwriter and a Chartered Financial Consultant and he holds his series 7, series 63, series 65 and series 1 licenses as well as the life, health and variable insurance license.  In addition to these licenses, Jim is also certified to sell health insurance in the Federal Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) and he is certified to sell Medicare Advantage plans.

Jim is a graduate of the University of Akron obtaining a BS in Business Administration as well as receiving his designations from the American College.  Jim is a current member of the Akron Executive Association (AEA), the National Association of Financial Associates (NAIFA), the Northeast Ohio Health Underwriters (NEOHU) and a member and past-president of the Society of Financial Service Professionals (SFSP).

Jim is a life-long resident of Northeast Ohio, currently residing in Green.  He has a daughter Candice and is the proud grandfather of Graden.
